10 Questions!

Here's some Q & A from our featured designer, March of Marni Designs!

1. What is your favorite color to design with?

That is a tough one! I don't think I could pick just one! I'm usually inspired by a set of colors more than just one.

2. What's your favorite elements to make when designing?

Flowers! You can do sooo many soo different each time! and they are great for clustering also.

3. What's your favorite ice cream flavor?

Chocolate for sure!

4. How do you get your inspiration for your products?

I always start with the colors. I find it very hard to design based on a theme. Once I have my colors, I start with papers and then I just let it flow and see where I end up.

5. Can you show us your first layout or product and you favorite layout/product of your own?

Ok..this is actually very embarassing!! but I'll show you anyway...
Believe it or not...this was my first kit ever! Don't laugh! OMG..even the packaging is ridiculous...

Ok...so I really don't want to leave you with a bad taste in your mouth..lol So please..let me show you now my favorites!

Usually..my newest kit always becomes my favorite ha ha..



And this is a layout I made using all three kits! They are great because you can mix and match!



6. If you could have one wish what would it be?

Ooh...that is so easy! to become a mom one day

7. Who told you about scrapbooking/designing?

It was on Facebook..I had recently reconnected with a friend from Middle School and I saw one of her layouts. I sent her a message and she introduced me to

digital scrapbooking! The designing part, I started when I participated on the Unbaked Challenges at Brownie Scraps!

8. Are you a night owl or an early bird?

Definitely a night owl.

9. What's one scrapbooking/designing tip you would give to a first timer?

The best way to learn is by not being afraid and play with every single tool on your program.

10. How long have you been scrapping/designing?

Scrapping since September 2008 and designing on April 2009
